What a difference a week makes. In situations where both teams needed victories, the Seahawks and Cowboys came through.
The Cowboys are currently 1-1 in the Brad Johnson era and Game 3 (possibly) is against the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants at the Meadowlands Sunday afternoon.
The offense has looked somewhere between awful and pathetic under Johnson’s guidance, which is understandable given a variety of factors working against him.

Who do you like in this week’s matchup, as the fast-falling Dallas Cowboys host the lean and mean Tampa Bay Buccaneers? I’ve never claimed to be a “rocket surgeon”, so don’t look to me for an outcome. But I will offer up these five points supporting why Dallas will either enjoy that fleeting thrill of victory and five points explaining why Dallas will once again taste the bitterness of defeat.
For at least the next two games, the Cowboys offense will be guided by 40-year-old Brad Johnson while regular starter Tony Romo recovers from a broken pinky.
Johnson, now in his 17th NFL season, won a Super Bowl with this week’s opponent, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which is one of the reasons Johnson was brought in,, as Johnson is the only player on the Cowboys roster with a ring.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Dallas Cowboys @ Texas Stadium, Irving – Sunday, 12:00 p.m. (Ch.4)
That Thanksgiving Day game between the Seahawks and Cowboys look less and less enticing with each passing week. Both teams suffered resounding road losses in which the backup quarterback for each team started.
The Dallas Stars’ defense has not looked good this year. I figured I would start things out with the obvious and move on from there. Although dealing with early injuries to two of it’s leading members – Sergei Zubov and Phillippe Boucher (who has since returned) – the Stars have struggled to find cohesion this season. This has led to a spot that the Stars aren’t used to – dead last.
As we all know by now, Pacman Jones is currently serving an indefinite suspension of at least four games without pay.
We all know about his past indiscretions, but how does his latest suspension affect the future of the Cowboys franchise?
