Those of you who loved the Ben and Skin Show on your drive home via 105.3 The Fan will be thrilled to hear that the boys are making a comeback, and this time they’re on a REAL sports radio station!
According to ESPNDallas.com,
Ben and Skin, who have made their mark on the Dallas sports radio market over the past decade, will move into the 6 p.m.-9 p.m. slot and will also anchor local Mavericks pregame and postgame programming for ESPN 103.3 FM.
“We’re beyond excited to have the opportunity to join what is clearly a rocket ship in 103.3 ESPN,” Rogers said. “We’re coming into an ideal situation where we already have great relationships with our new teammates, and we are joining them at a time when they have tremendous momentum and synergy on the heels of launching ESPNDallas.com.”
Unfortunately, I don’t get much time near a radio from 6-9pm, but I’ll be sure to make up an excuse to go for a drive sometime this week to catch the boys back in action.

I would rather listen to the Ticket top 10 or Dan Patrick re-runs than hear these two tools yammer about the mav's
You remind me, Jimmy, that I was planning a set of posts I never wrote on local DFW sports radio coverage. I would say that The Fan has the least expertise in sports reporting, but that's why they're so fan-focused. They're new to the fray and the easiest way in was to give the fans a chance to talk and to discuss all sorts of random topics not related to sports, just to fill time and to have an excuse to get more fan responses.
I thought Ben and Skin were pretty funny, and I'm curious to see how they handle an ESPN show. ESPN has a completely different set of rules when it comes to what makes up a show, so I wouldn't be surprised if Ben and Skin show more of their real talent in this setting.
We'll see.
This makes me so incredibly happy, I missed hearing these tools and their humorous hijinks.
I never was too big of a fan of their actual show; however, I loved hearing them talk Mavs when they ran post-game on the Ticket. If that's going to be part of their main focus, they will definitely succeed. Those boys know their ball.
And yes, the Fan is really, really awful.
for realz. buncha gooberdoodlez. lolcatz.
I think they've been pretty entertaining doing the post-game stuff so far. Skin seems to really know the game.
Thanks for the feedback, Skin! J/K
