So Mr. Jones gave you your walking papers eh? Can’t say I blame him in-light-of-every-catastrophic-failure that has occurred this season.

In all honesty, he had to do something despite this season’s disastrous 1-7 start didn’t he? I mean last season the Cowboys made an exceptional post season appearance and whipped up on the hated Philadelphia Eagles and while doing so put to rest a couple of dreadful streaks:

1). the last time the Cowboys won a play-off game, those silly Rangers were all the rage

He might want to carry the pads next time…

Roy Williams got a little bit of revenge on rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant Monday night.

$54,896 worth of revenge.

Bryant, as we all remember, refused to carry Williams’ pads during training camp, claiming he didn’t know about the tradition.

"I’m not doing it," Bryant said at the time. "I feel like I was drafted to play football, not carry another player’s pads."

Bryant offered to take the offensive players to Pappas Bros. Steakhouse Monday night, but Williams also invited the defensive players to the dinner.

Several players, including Miles Austin, Jesse Holley, Felix Jones and Bryant himself tweeted about the experience.
