After what has seemed like an eternity, the Chicago Bears have a REAL quarterback. That’s right. You’re not hallucinating. Jay Cutler is a Chicago Bear, and Bears fans everywhere have a reason to be excited for the first time since…. well, we forget since when. It’s been that long.
If that weren’t enough, Chicago also picked up the talented Left Guard, Orlando Pace. So they’ve got a REAL quarterback, and some help to keep him from getting killed. Kudos to the normally stagnant front office.
There’s no more Brandon Marshall, but Cutler will have Devin Hester, Desmond Clark, Greg Olsen, and Matt Forte as his primary offensive weapons. Not quite as strong a receiver core, but solid enough for a cannon arm of Cutler’s caliber.
What do Bears fans think about the trade? As of this writing, the Chicago Tribune online poll has 77.6% of 9,259 fans in favor of the trade. 4.8% think the Bears should’ve stuck with Kyle Orton. 17.6% said Chicago gave up too much to get Cutler.
What do YOU think? Check out today’s poll.

Last I checked the Bears have won more playoff games than the Cowboys playa. Remember the Bears were in the Superbowl in 2006 you can’t say the Bears just became a real football team. I’m really interested to see who you consider a real football team. Watch a little more football next time my friend before you make these ridiculous proclamations, there are other teams in the NFL.
