With 10:46 remaining in the 1st Quarter, Dallas desperately needs to pick up the pace. The season is on the line here. With Atlanta’s win over Tampa Bay this afternoon, Romo and the Cowboys have to win to stay in the Wildcard hunt. Tampa Bay and Atlanta are currently in the two NFC Wildcard slots based on win-loss record. Dallas could tie both with a win tonight.
Neither offense has shown any sparks of brilliance early in the game. Stay tuned for a Half-time update. You’ll be able to read my take on the 1st Half right here on this post.
With the third quarter winding down, Dallas leads New York 7-3. It has been a battle of the defenses. Eli Manning has been sacked seven times already in the game. Romo has been rushed and hurried and continues his post injury pattern of downfield overthrows.
Just about every receiver on the team has touched the ball, as Romo judiciously spreads the love around. The Cowboys look to win this game if they can keep the momentum and avoid turnovers.
