After rehabbing like a madman, Caron admits to wishing the NBA Finals were stretched to Game 7 so he’d have a chance to play. It’s got to be tough to want a championship so badly and then have to watch your team win it without you. Here’s hoping Caron and the Mavs go back and repeat next year!

I want to go on record saying that I have never once doubted Coach Carlisle this season. I like the way he’s carried himself all year. I have no complaints. He makes mistakes like any other coach, but I think he “gets” his team and he is the best man for the job.

Aaaaaaand… BREATHE! Mavs fans can finally exhale, knowing that Dirk is in the driver’s seat. Mavericks win Game 5, and head back to Miami today for Game 6 and Game 7 if necessary.
If I’m the Dallas Mavericks, I want to close out in Game 6. I give everything I have left to win it. Because it’s the only cushion they have.
