Jason Witten praises Tony Romo for willing himself to complete the game, and called him an elite quarterback. Dan Bailey gets some much deserved love as well.

Dallas is about to run into some interesting times. ESPN reported last night that Miles Austin will likely miss 1-2 games with a hamstring injury. Dez Bryant is still questionable for next week. There goes your #1 and #2. Who does that leave? Let’s take a look at the current depth chart:
This is why you value Romo and Witten so much. They work together. They know what each other is doing. Romo’s athleticism buys him time when there’s pressure. Witten improvises and gives Tony a window of opportunity.

This is embarassing. Jason Witten, the formerly most reliable receiver on the team, has unfortunately morphed into the reincarnation of Flozell Adams. Remember how we thought the Cowboys penalties were going to lessen when Dallas gave Flozell his walking papers? Take THAT, Dallas hopeful!
What is the most historically dependable and reliable Dallas Cowboy on today’s roster thinking? What’s the big hurry?
Witten’s sudden penchant for false start penalties is by no means Dallas’ #1 problem, but it is a troubling sign of a deeper issue. If your most reliable player can’t get it together, how can you expect the prima donna misfits to do any better?
Last we left the “Romo Friendly” offense, Romo found himself in anything but a friendly situation. I more or less blasted Garret for being rather stubborn and trying to continue passing the ball when Romo was having a less than stellar outing, all while the running game was clicking on all cylinders. Did Garrett learn from his mistakes last week? Did we have an actual return to “Romo Friendly” territory? And of course, most importantly, how effective was the offense on Monday night? Let’s dive into Monday night’s game and find out.
Dallas defeated Carolina on Monday Night Football. It was a miserable First Half with almost no score. Dallas picked up the pace in the Second Half to get the crowd back into the game. Romo protected the ball all night and completed 22 of 33 for 255 yards. The offensive line seemed weak tonight, and we saw Romo both scrambling to safety and taking the sack during this game.
Here are the Big Three, smiling and joking like there was never a problem. Of course, this didn’t have to be as big a deal as the media made it. This is what happens when the media is desperate to make news to sell ads.

This just further proves that in professional sports, winning solves almost all ills. Losing draws them to the surface.
