This footage dates back to March 2009 when Dale Hansen traveled out to the Florida Keys to interview the great Jimmy Johnson. It’s important to note Jimmy’s opinions of this current Dallas team.
A couple quick points:
- Jimmy likes Romo a lot
- He doesn’t blame Romo for a team’s worth of penalties and turnovers
- He thinks Dallas will turn it around
- He wants Dallas to win so bad it hurts
- He acknowledges Jerry Jones’ greatness as an owner (despite GM failings)

A new wind will inevitably blow through the Greater Arlington area come Summer 2010. The best case scenario this season equals a playoff win. Worst case is Romo gets another long vacation during the playoffs. If the Cowboys lose against Atlanta, the team implodes. As the team implodes, Jerry will definitely be strategizing how to clean house. He’ll also no doubt start flirting with all the head coach and coaching staff possibilities, not to mention free agency.
Most of us hate the idea of Jerry Jones as General Manager. That being said, most of us realize that won’t change. So let’s look at what WILL change.
YES! It’s that time of year again, my friends. Time to sit back, relax, and toss down a few pounds of toxic nachos while Tha Boys take the field. Time to put your monster HD tvs to some good use. No more silly movies or prime time dramas (ok, maybe a few during the week).
Jerry Jones is present, wearing a dapper sports coat and lavender dress shirt (truly pimpified). Wade Phillips appears to have taken interview lessons from some sort of speech coach (he at least offers information now between “ums”). Romo is quiet as we would hope.
This is a preview of
