new york giants

You need a good chuckle to loosen the nerves. Nothing like pre-game jitters. Check out this Kanye/Jay-Z remix dedicated to all the Cowboys enemies.

Each Wednesday, I’ll be analyzing the teams in the NFC East by position. This week, I’ll start with running backs.

The information in the depth charts was gathered from Yahoo! Sports

Dallas Cowboys

Felix Jones
Tashard Choice
DeMarco Murray

A slimmer, hopefully quicker, Felix Jones will go into the season as the number one back for the Cowboys, with Tashard Choice and rookie DeMarco Murray battling for the number two slot.

McNabb: NFC East Game Changer

by SteveHartline on September 25, 2010

Donovan McNabbDonovan McNabb has a new lease on life with the Washington Redskins after Andy Reid and the Eagles dealt him away ‘within the division’.  Does that move make sense? Only time will tell, but currently it seems to be just what Donovan needed: a clean break from the Eagles and he now plays for a coach that loves quarterbacks for what they are, not what he wants to make them.

The decision though has proven to be a blunder on the Eagles part in terms of what can now be classified in epic proportions.

ESPN asks and answers the question: which of these three NFC teams are the odd man out?

Get ready to pack it in, Cowboys fans. The season is almost over. Dallas needs to go 3-2 in the last five games in order to have a shot at the playoffs, and they’ve already lost the first two opportunities. Next week is New Orleans, and it would take more than a little miracle for Dallas to pull off a win there. While two wins “might” get them into the last Wildcard spot, they’d be depending on New York to lose.

It’s the middle of the week. Time to refresh. Where Dallas has been, and where they are going. Take a quick look back at Sunday’s highlights. Michi’s Wednesday Warmup is coming soon, where he’ll take a look at the Cowboys next opponent: the red hot San Diego Chargers.

OOPS! The worst case scenario for the Cowboys is in full effect as Dallas fell to the Giants 31-24 at the Meadowlands Sunday evening. Along with that, the Eagles won Sunday, which puts them in a tie for first in the NFC East with the Cowboys with the Giants a game behind and holding the tie-breaker with the Cowboys. There are several area to look at in this loss and the ground game is one of them, as the “Monster” finished with 23 carries for 45 yards and 6 receptions for 20 yards. I think its safe to say you’re not gonna win many games averaging less than 2 yards a carry.

Sunday’s game is easily the most confusing and frustrating game that I have broken down all season. Throughout the year, it has been fairly easy to point out the offensive shortcomings that have caused this team to fail in their losses. However, as we all will soon see in this week’s breakdown, the story is not so clear at all. The theories, axioms, and recipes for success that I have hung my hat on all season have been shaken to the core.

After a couple of off-weeks for the offense, the Cowboys were finally able to get it together on Thanksgiving and hold onto their lead in the NFC East. This Sunday, a major test awaits Dallas as they head to New York to face division foe Eli Manning and the Giants.

Hang on, Romo-haters and throwers-under-buses! Before you turn your creepy Romosexual love into unadulterated hate, let’s take a quick look back at the three picks Romo threw and gain some perspective.

Romo gets all the blame for the deep ball interception, as it looked more like a punt to the open Giant. But the off-the-foot interception for a touchdown was as big a fluke as you will see this season in the NFL. Take another look:
