Witten, Owens, and Romo Postgame Interview

Here are the Big Three, smiling and joking like there was never a problem. Of course, this didn’t have to be as big a deal as the media made it. This is what happens when the media is desperate to make news to sell ads.
This just further proves that in professional sports, winning solves almost all ills. Losing draws them to the surface.
Terrell Owens is a Superstar… Against Bad Teams

Sorry, Terrell. If you want to gloat after a game, gloat after the Steelers game. A 200+ yard game is excellent by any standards, but you did so against a mediocre defense that didn’t jam you at the line.
Until you get jammed and still show us the goods, you’re just a diva who won’t dive or jump for balls. And though the refs didn’t see it, everyone else saw your shove that gave you enough room to catch one of your longer passes yesterday.
So congratulations. You helped the Cowboys win. But did you see what Randy Moss did yesterday? ’nuff said.
Roy Williams and Terrell Owens: Why it WILL Work

Terrell Owens, Patrick Crayton, Miles Austin, Isaiah Stanbeck, and Sam Hurd. This was how the wide receiver corps for the Dallas Cowboys started out this year. Throw in the tight ends – Whitten, Bennett, and Curtis – and the running backs – Barber, Jones, and Choice – and this Dallas offense was loaded with potential. As the season kicked off this year, they were picked by everyone in the league as the most dominant offensive grouping that the league had to offer. Tony Romo at the helm gave us confidence, and his “miracle worker” style had everyone picking these Cowboys to go all the way. As we all know, the hype that is the prelude to the season is seldom as exciting as the reality of it.
What ARE Terrell Owens’ Motives?

After the past three weeks of play, it’s fair to question the motives and goals of Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver, Terrell Owens. Yes, he can be a playmaker. Yes, he can be a difference maker. And yes, he can be completely ineffective and useless.
Vintage T.O. Tour kicks off after loss to the Redskins

I bought into the hype and felt Terrell Owens had become a satisfied man in Dallas. After all, he wears The Star and plays with one of the most talented offenses in the game. And with New England’s Tom Brady going down in week one, most Monday Morning Quarterbacks felt that the Cowboys All Star wide out was this year’s heir apparent to last year’s Randy Moss like fantasy numbers. I brought my popcorn weekly to the show and thought things were good.
Get Your Own Terrell Owens Gear

Someone has an advisor worth his salt. T.O. launched a new t-shirt line during this offseason, and he did it on HBO’s Hard Knocks. T.O. Tees is a clever line of shirts, each promoting a different action.
No One Cares about Keyshawn

Yet further evidence that the media has too much time on their hands. Does anyone REALLY care what Keyshawn Johnson says? Answer: no. He’s a has-been, and a “never-really-was”. Don’t get me wrong. I wanted to like Keyshawn back in the day as a Dallas Cowboy fan. But his attitude was too similar to Terrell Owens without the superstar production.
Now, I’m not claiming Owens deserves to be praised as the second coming… not a chance. But he HAS produced when needed, and he HAS carried the burden of receptions on average. The supporting cast is absolutely necessary and nothing would happen without them. But Terrell Owens is almost as much a reason for Cowboys success as Tony Romo. Ewww… that hurt a few people, didn’t it?
As Keyshawn and Terrell go back and forth right now with their little lover’s quarrel, my only question is this: why does Terrell or anyone else give a rat’s @$$ what Keyshawn Johnson says? You’ve got to be a bigger man than that, T.O. Don’t let a whining has-been get on your nerves. Let him do his talking. That’s all he has left. You just go out and keep producing. I got my popcorn ready and I’m waitin’ for another big day!
Open Terrell Owens, Insert Foot

Watching a news teaser on NBC, I saw some of the Dallas Cowboys making an appearance at Children’s Hospital of Dallas. Terrell Owens was present, believe it or not, hanging out with the kids and making them laugh. It is a very worthy way to spend a day off the field.
However, given the opportunity, Terrell will not refuse the microphone. He was offered a chance to speak, and unfortunately, he did. Without quoting directly, I’ll give you the basic idea. He said that these cancer patient kids “probably” face more in a day than Terrell and his teammates do, so he’s just glad to be able to show up and brighten up their day. How nice.
Exactly where is the “probably”? Hmmm… Cancer? Or professional football practice for millions of dollars? Tough decision. Nice one, Terrell.
