Inevitably, someone somewhere asks why we don’t cover the Mavericks with the same zeal as the Cowboys. This, my friends, is a stupid question. However, while we may cover the Cowboys with more passion, we love us some Dallas Mavericks. We wish we could deliver live game blogging and postgame reports. We hope to get there someday soon.
For now, we don’t have enough staff writers. Unlike your major networks, we’re a group of voluntary sports writers watching and writing as we go. We need people like you to join the team and make this brand what it should be: the hub of local Dallas sports opinion of the people, by the people, and for the people.
We’re currently looking for two Dallas Mavericks writers to cover at least one game a week each. Each writer chosen will deliver two posts per week and will beef up our game so that we’re truly a two sport team. Our goal is to deliver daily sports coverage of every pro sport in DFW. And we’ll get there with your help.
